Anita said: The wonderful lady I spoke to said she has even received a called from them herself and when she confronted the person on the line, this person told the lady to go to ****. This company has received so many complaints on several websites and I assume that hiding or "spoofing" their number behind the legitimate company is illegal. Please, please investigate these people!
James said: The caller ID said Card Services. This is from Bank America fraud dept. It is legit. The only information I had to give was the billing zip code of my card and confirm they were talking to right person. They asked about a high dollar purchase I made from Amazon.com.
Jennifer said: it's an automated dialer, they say that i am paying too high of an interest rate on my credit card and to press 1 to speak to someone. i press one and the person asks for my name and then asks what my cc balance is so he can connect me. i said i wasn't comfortable giving him that information and he said he requires it to transfer me. i asked ot speak with his supervisor and he wont and he hangs up. i really wanted to get off their calling list by speaking with a manager but to no avail. when i call the number back, it doesn't work

Rick Starbird called my minor daughter's teacher at school trying to track down my husband only five minutes after having left him a message on his cell phone. This violation of trust and privacy should be illegal.
MHill said: I have received numerous calls on my business phone. When I pick up it is an automated message stating that they have a special offer for a lower interest rate on my credit card (I never use this number for any personal cards) and that I should hold as the offer is about to expire. Each time I ask them to remove my phone number from their list and they hang up on me. Today the woman verified my number and stated she put it on the do-not-call list. i will see if that works. Is this even a legitimate company or are they fishing for information to use fraudulantly?
Matilda Jane said: you pick up phone and automated message says it's from credit card service, you qualify for lower interest rate for limited time, please press 9 to speak with live operator about lowering your interest rate. I went ahead and did that and talked with "Cody" for enough time to find out what they're up to. They want your name and info, so they can "qualify" you as a good candidate for lowering your credit card interest rates with your current card companiess. I asked, "before I give you personal info, let me Google your parent company to make sure you're legitimate. Who are you with?" He said, ok one minute, put me on hold, then the line disconnected. It felt like a rushed push for personal info. I knew it was a scam, but wanted to find out who it was! Everyone, Please avoid companies like this. They are NOT legitimate. You can phone your own Credit Card companies to ask for lower interest rates. I enjoyed wasting his time acting interested so I could get more info on them. Just reported them to FTC. Never did find out WHO they really are.
bummed said: I received a call from "card services" saying that since I had paid my bill on time for the past 6 months, they would like to lower my interest rate to as low as 6.9%. They said they represented over 600 credit card companies and that they were a part of mine. They asked how much I owed. Which, stupidly enough I answered. Then she asked my interest rate. I asked her to tell me since she represented my company. Then she hung up. When I checked my called ID there wasn't any name, but it listed the number 5-062-276-2702. I called my phone company and credit card company but neither was interested or thought there was anything to be done. I learned my lesson!
Brad said: Received a call from a company that identified themselves as "Card Services". I had received a call earlier in the day from the same company with the caller ID 772-978-0477.. The first call the representative named Brandon got verbally obusive when I asked not to be called again. On the second call, I asked to speak to a manager, and they hung up on me. I tried to call the first number back to report Brandon's behavior, but the 772 number did not allow incoming calls.
