The voice says press "3" if you wish to not receive any more calls which I do and yet I still hear from them. I call the number back and get a discontinued message for that number. ANNOYING AS HELL!!!!
Anon said: Just called, has called multiple nights in a row, said they were doing a study for the University of NH. I said I was on the do not call list, and if it did not apply, to remove me from their own list. Woman said they had no list, then tried to ask more questions (whether I had children, etc), to which I interrupted and said I would NOT be answering questions, and to remove my number from any "list" they might have and hung up. She was VERY pushy, and rude - so I was back.

Called back 2 hours later, tired man said it might have been his partner, and if it was important, they would call back.
Sounded like a personal phone line, no business indicated on answer.

Last week also received a call from 1-317-781-0641 and when I answered they also hung up without saying a word and recently had another call from 1-317-735-2746 that also hung up without a word. This is an Indianapolis area code which is a 3 hour drive from us. Anyone else receiving calls like this?
tired in utah said: Got a call at 3:00 am this morning. Auto dialing telemarketers... should be outlawed. I would get 8-10 calls a day. I started connecting to them, telling them I was interested in whatever they were selling, and stringing them along as long as possible. When they finally find out that I don't need to re-finance, or a service warranty, or consolidate my bills... and they tell me I don't qualify, I tell them they should probably remove my number from their calling list. I only get 1-2 a day now ;-) The 3:00am call is probably a pay back. Thanks for the fcc link.
