Phone Caller Type: Non-Profit Organization

E Bernard Jordan / Zoe Ministries visited my church before.  If you buy a book or CD, they give you the option of signing up to be on their contact list.  Most times, they are inviting you to an event.  As far as I know, they don't intentionally make cold calls to people who don't want to be contacted.  As for the "You've been hacked" message, I think someone else who was annoyed at being called on their cell phone hacked into Zoe Ministries voice mail system and replaced their recording.  To get off of their contact list, call them at 212-220-8668 or email them at bishopjordan (at) zoeministries.com, give them your name and number, and request to be removed.  The woman I spoke with said the info is passed on to their technology staff and you should be off their list in about a week.

Have received two calls from this number. When I pick up its an automated message. Why I am getting this number is beyond me since I am on a no-call list.

They call all the time.

I get a call from this company everyday.  I have called them back now 4 times and asked them to take my number off of their call list and they hang up on me.   I have asked to speak to a supervisor tonight and they hung up on me.  If I get another call from them, I will call the attorney general for this state and see if they can do something about it.

Called and asked for my wife by name.  Said his name was Matt and he was calling regarding a community project on behalf of the Legion.  Unwilling to speak with me.  Wife was unavailable.

Contacted me via email first from my website.  Wanted to purchase items from  my company in bulk for his church.  Directed me to a shipper for international shipping quote from the manufacturer to West Africa.  Shipper would only take wired money from my company.  I refused.  All correspondence was through email until I told him (in an email) that We do not wire money.  At that, The "Rev. John Podrasky" CALLED my company.  When I mentioned fraudulent activity...he hung up.  Caller ID revealed this number.

Wheelchair Basketball.  They asked for my boss again and I indicated he was in (he really wasn't), but he first wanted to know who is looking for him.  ID'd herself as "Helen" from some wheelchair basketball charity my boss sent some money in to a few years back and they haven't stopped bothering him since.  I told the lady sorry, he's not interested, please stop calling him here.  We'll see if it's over or not...so far my boss is happy I might have beaten them away for him.
