Alvin is racial profiling...why does her race have anything to do with the call... spam is spam. get over it. I received the call as well and simply asked them to not call me anymore and hung up... that's that.

THERE IS A DIFFERNCE IN THE WAY THEY TALK.

i just got a phone call from a different number but exactly the same offer, almost. ha but they wre from the publisher, it was 2 women and i just said okay to the magazine, never agreeing, just trying to figure out what it is. they asked what i did for a living and knew my address and name and number and credit card company. im very curious as to what this is. but anyway i was "transfered" to her supervisor to put a good word in for her and then in the middle of talking to this supervisor she was gone.

I got called by this number twice this morning.  I didn't answer because only a few know my number.  I called the number back and a recorder answered saying it was BW Publications and if I wanted my number off there calling list, then leave a message.  I didn't of of course.  Alot of these companies just do that to confirm they are calling a currently used number then they sell your number to mag companies, online business, and such.

I also recieved a call from the same lady. She said that she was with the "Publisher"??? I said, you're with the Publisher? (Curious, because I don't subscribe to "the publisher). Then, she said, well your name was submitted from one of the companies that you do business with because you pay your bills on time. She proceeded to tell me that I had won $1000 that I could use on the internet. She also asked what my favorite credit card company was. She then told me about this "great" magazine offer, and when I told her that I wasn't going to pay for the magazines, she hung up on me. Very proffesional,lol!!

I got called like 12 times from them. I picked up the second time and they asked me what credit card company I perfered and said I was entered to win a Million dollars. I thought to myself, this is lame, and obvious fake. They called back a week later and said that I had won an alternative prize of 1000 dollars and that I could only spend it on-line, but I had to be twenty years told to spend it. I am eighteen so I am legally binding, but they insisted that they talk to a twenty year old in my house hold. They wont stop calling and often call in very in opportune moments often three plus times a day. They tried to get personal information, but I didn't want to give it to them so they again suggest that they talk to someone twenty or older in my house.

That's some phone you have if it tells you what color the person is that's calling you.  By the way...why does that matter?

I got the same call for at least 5 times in the past one week. I didn't answer the phone after the 1st time talking to the person. I realize it is spam.

I just got a call today 9/26. A black woman offered me a free $1000 shopping spree and told her that I was a preferred customer by my Visa company. I gave her my age and card company and then she switched to offering me a deal on Magazines. I rejected the magazine instantly when I heard they would cost, and the female sounded very disappointed and kept asking me "Why don't I want the Zines?" Then she said hold up 1 sec. I held on for a while, looked at my phone and found out she had hung up on me.

I was outraged at how rude that was. I called back only to find that they were busy.
