Told me he did a background check, that I was being sued by the DA, would take no less than $400 today or I would be served and sued for 6x times the amount I owed on a payday loan. One I got during a horrible time, and have been making arrangements in the last year to pay all my debts. They bullied me and broke me to tears. Glad I found this information, I am calling the DA to see if they are filing a suit against me.
California Girl said: Yes, they called me, it was Gina, and she said she was collecting on a debt. She said I should be afraid because I had broken several laws and I would be served in 72 hours. She said they had more than what they needed to put me in jail for this bill. She was screaming at me! Now she is calling my reference on the payday loan and harassing her almost daily! This company is full of crazy people. I have filed a complaint with the consumer board!

Trish said: I had the same call earlier this week! From a Gina Kerr, telling me that I had 72 hrs by law to respond to this civil complaint and that I could call her if I wanted to be debriefed on my case. It is just complete BS. My sister has had similar things go on with "online Payday loan" places. If you can't pay, close your bank account, etc., they end up selling the bad debt to a company for pennies on the dollar, then the deceptive collection practices begin! You should file a complaint with the Dept. of Finance. Did you know that when a company is doing collections, they have to be licensed in that particular state? My sister filed 2 complaints about these people, and actually got apology letters completely forgiving her PayDay loan debts and saying she owed nothing and couldn't even find record that she did.
DO NOT let these people scare you, bully you or pretend to make anything a legal issue. It is their scare tactic. They may call your home, work, friends, family, boss, etc., but it's all total BS. Don't pay them a DIME!! And, tell them you are filing a complaint with the Dept. of Finance and to stop calling. Then just hang up.
These people must be making millions.....

They said in 72 hours I would be served and that all the "evidence" has been reviewed. I dont even know what "evidence" they are talking about. Ive read that this number is a scam. Can anyone verify?
