Then hangs up. Complaints on another site, only one person got a recording stating it was about some medical alert products for sale. The rest of the complaints, caller doesn't leave a message.

anonymous said: I received a post card saying I have an unclaimed reward on my account and they are holding $100.00 in savings good at Wal-Mart, Target and many more.
When you call to claim it, they say they have a gift certificate worth $100.00 that can be used at just about any store I choose, but I have to pay just over $1.00 handling fee, which obviously requires me give them a credit card number. They try to assure me that it is safe to do so because they are recording the phone conversation. The post card doesn't say anywhere what their name is, and the person on the phone is barely understandable. They already have my name and address, and because I called them they have my telephone number. A credit card number with the security code would be a great score. I told them that if they were actually rewarding me with a gift certificate, they wouldn't be charging me anything.

J.T. said: These guys are scammers. They are very persistent and will keep calling even after you tell them you know that they are up to no good. They claim to be from Panda internet security. They claim that their antivirus program was compromised and they need to remotely access your computer to see if your computer was affected. They of course find that it was and would like to refund the money you paid for Panda Anti virus subscription because it failed. They need you to log onto your bank so they can "refund" your money.. When you insist that you do not give out any banking info they insist that they did not ask for bank information. Yeah, right. You are inside my computer moron, I don't know what you can see and can't see, but you got the wrong guy!!! I hung up the phone and turned off my computer. When I turned it back on it was asking for my password with a prompt I have never seen before. I shut down my computer and turned it back on and was able to restore to an earlier time. Ran anti-spyware anti-virus and anti-malware programs . Cleaned all that bull crap out of my computer and everything seems to be okay. Those idiots from sounds like India are still calling me. I just pick up the phone when I see it is them and hang it right back up. They just don't give up. BEWARE-They sound really official and talk like they are who they say they are, Don't fall for it!!! Contact the company they claim to be from and ask if their company would be calling customers issuing refunds. If their are code starts from 545-550 then it is definitely a scam. Area codes 545-550 are not valid area codes anywhere in the world, look it up.
